July 2005 ~ Marilyn entered some of her work at the LaCloche Art show again this year and received an Honourable Mention for her painting "Images of Tuscany".  The certificate was presented to Marilyn by ***
Marilyn and her friend Julie painted the large banner that helped decorate the Whitefish Falls volunteer fire hall where the reception was held on opening night.

January 2005 ~ Marilyn opened her home and offered her art to the Tsunami relief effort with three day Art Show.
For the cost of framing and a donation to the Canadian Red Cross (Tsunami Relief) the visitors could have a piece of Marilyn's work.  Some of the most dedicated art collectors from the Sudbury area attended and went home with no less than two pieces each.  In total, Marilyn collected $945 for the Red Cross.
This event was show cased on MCTV and CBC Radio Sudbury and 94.1 "The MOOSE" Elliot Lake.
